About WJEC
WJEC was born out of a consortium of local education authorities in 1948, and is now a registered charity, and a company limited by guarantee.
Following the introduction of reformed general qualifications in 2015, WJEC has become the sole qualification provider for state-funded schools and colleges in Wales across most GCSE and AS/A level subjects.
WJEC provides bilingual qualifications in GCSE Mathematics, Level 2 Additional Mathematics and A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics
