A series of three 1 ½ hour workshops on "Teams"
It is intended that participants attend all three sessions
Geogebra is a free Maths tool which enables the easy production of graphs, geometrical investigations and data analysis on screen. Many of the more complex ideas of both the Maths and the Further Maths specifications become much more tangible when Geogebra is used to produce visualisations of the concepts. The first workshop session will concentrate on basic Geogebra skills and how they can be used to illustrate and develop concepts from Maths unit 1, the second session will look at applications of Geogebra to the Applied Maths encountered in Maths units 2 and 4 and the final session will consider the use of Geogebra within the AS modules of Further Maths. There are many different versions of Geogebra available to download. FMSPW has decided to standardise on Geogebra Classic 5 and this will be the version that will be used for these workshops. Each workshop will take place as a one-hour-and-a-half session, on Zoom. A Resource pack will be provided before each session which will detail the examples that will be worked on together during the session The workshop will take place in the English medium, with a Welsh medium assistant present at each session.
To attend please contact email@example.com 4by the 25th September 2020, with the name of your school and what day you would prefer to attend.
