Whilst it clear that, as a result of the disruption in the last academic year, the formation of simple differential equations will not be examined by the WJEC in 2022, there is still an urgent need that it be taught as an important part of developing mathematical thinking and understanding. This course will explore the types of pure mathematics topics that lend themselves to the formation of first order differential equations and some strategies for solving them.
